INTERVIEW WITH 11/12 ENGLISH TEACHER
To introduce students to more general information about assignments, grading, and what they can expect to learn, this article focuses on an interview with English teacher, Ms. Qureshi, about how students are expected to perform, common struggles, and how students can succeed in her class.
First off, to provide basic context to this class, the question first asked was, "What can students learn from this class?" She answered that students grades 11-12 learn how to prepare for higher academia and are ready for graduation and further education for the following years. They are taught how to read and write poetry, teaching drama and Shakespeare, and preparing for applications.

Next, for students specifically taking her classes, the question was, "what is your teaching style?" To which she responded, "I think I'm strict because I pair as a professional." Adding on, she finds it important that students stay on task and get their work done.
"How can this subject benefit students in the future?" She responded, "I really think that as an English teacher, as I used to be an English student and I've done my majors in English literature, I think students should read well for more opportunities in life."
She then goes on to elaborate how her husband works in the medical field as a surgeon. He believes he performs well in his field only because he has a practiced skill of reading and writing. Otherwise, English is a very important skill to have since it is very crucial in order to get different jobs and education, especially if students wish to pursue a higher education.
