INTERVIEW WITH GRADES 9-12 ENGLISH LITERATURE STUDENTS
Sometimes there are certain issues students face that teachers don't understand well, or perhaps there is a lack of relatability and connection within the subject class. This is an article about interviewing a few students around the school about their experience with the English subject.
The first question asked was, "What's your impression on English so far?" In order to gain a better understanding on how this student views English. They responded that they heavily preferred this subject over others, though at certain points the subject can be tricky. They added that what they struggle with is the amount of work given, which is the main criticism they would give.

The next questiom, "Has English changed the way you learn?" They responded that it has affected the way they view the world- thinking more deeply on texts that they otherwise wouldn't have. However, their style of learning has not shifted much. In this case, it changed the way they see the world.

After, "Is this class going to be a big part of your life after you graduate?" As mentioned beforehand, they preferred this subject. Still, they explained that English is a subject that is used everywhere- in any profession, it would most likely be used somewhere. For them, they would like to get into medicine, although at surface level, it may not seem to connect to English, English can be a big part of the profession as a good understanding can help you build communication skills.
